Hamilton Equine Veterinary Practice provides of a comprehensive and first-class veterinary service for the Thoroughbred racehorse in training. Working closely with our trainers we provide a tailored service dependent on the needs of each client. 

Using the most up to date, portable equipment, our vets can routinely carry out a wide range of services to include:

• Routine racing yard veterinary health management

• Lameness investigation, diagnosis, management and treatment

• Upper and lower respiratory tract health, investigation, and management

• Digestive tract and gastric health, including gastroscopy

• Poor performance investigation

• Cardiac investigation

• Advanced gait analysis

• Telemetry (locomotor, GPS, and heart information) to monitor equine performance remotely and provide veterinary support at an earlier stage

• Consultancy services which include general yard health; including injury analysis and prevention; performance analysis; infectious disease; nutrition

Whether it be for surgical, medical, or advance diagnostic imaging, we work closely with multiple referral hospitals and refer cases to the most appropriate centre dependent on individual case requirements and circumstances.
